APRIL 15

In honor of Jackie Robinson Day, Fear of God, in partnership with Major League Baseball, presents “April 15”, a tribute to the legacy of Jackie Robinson.

Before the stadium lights. Before the roar. The film traces a single morning, from the breakfast table to the ballpark, observing the quiet dignity of routine. It captures the space between the ordinary and the extraordinary, where presentation becomes the bridge, and daily ritual shapes a remarkable legacy.

“You’d see Jackie Robinson at home with his family, at the dinner table, heading out the door with a briefcase in his work clothes. That made me realize he was just a working-class professional athlete.”

“Part of this is speaking to the life we know we had that was familiar to his community at the time, and sharing that through the lens of today. That’s what makes the piece so powerful.”
